Dr. Luis Gamboa

Dr. Luis Gamboa was born and raised in Colombia, South America. He received his dental degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 1993. When he came to the United States, he graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry in Florida.
He has published extensively in refereed journals and book chapters and has presented his research findings and scholarly pursuits nationally and internationally. He has been able to combine his extensive training, knowledge, and background in academia for over twenty-nine (29) years with his clinical experiences with his students as a faculty member of Universidad El Bosque (Colombia), Universidad Javeriana (Colombia) and Nova Southeastern University (USA).

Dr. Gamboa enjoys working with patients. He loves using his hands and enjoys the diversity general dentistry offers. His favorite aspect of being a dentist is the ability to provide immediate assistance and create a long-lasting bond with patients.
In his free time, he likes spending time with his family and friends. He also loves to travel and celebrate his Latino culture.
Dr. Gamboa resides in Cary, NC with his family.
